Karaj Qazvin Track laying Railway
Project with a total length of 110 km
was inaugurated on 18 June 2020 by President Dr.Rouhani through
video conference and the presence of provincial Authorities and Senior Managers
of I.R.I Railway Upgrading the level of safety in Co.
General Mechanic Co. implemented Track laying of 53 km of the said project, in the area form Abyek
to Qazvin.
Project’s main goals and advantages:
transportation and decreasing the number of road accidents & crashes.

Increasing the total capacity of passengers and cargo transportation.

Having 30% increases in total speed of passengers’ trains.

Saving fuel up to 7.12 million litters in a year.

The project is located in East-West corridor from Sarakhs-Incheboron to
Razi border.

Providing facilities to transport transit goods from Astara- Anzali to
Shahid Rajai port (North- South International corridor)
